The Young Elites Cover Reveal

Since hearing Marie Lu discuss her new fantasy novel The Young Elites at YALLFest 2013, I've been really excited to get to blog about it. At the time we just had a rough summary that it was Fantasy, be set in Italy, and the main protagonist wears an eye patch. But now we got an awesome cover and a new summary and I'm loving the whole urban fantasy feel to it. It looks somewhat like Game of Thrones but when described my Marie Lu, sounded a lot to be like Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. The whole temperature of it is very dark and eerie with the clouds, cool and hair raising. The sword plunging through the clouds look very mid-evil. I'm a little confused on how this will turn out being that it is set in the future but looks so old-world. Tell me what you guys think of the cover below!
