*BOOK REVIEW* Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3)

{Published 2/4/14 by Harper Collins }
{416 Pages}
{Book Three in the Shatter Me Series}
{AUTHOR: Tahereh Mafi}

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, called "a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love"

Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she'll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.

In Shatter Me, Tahereh Mafi created a captivating and original story that combined the best of dystopian and paranormal and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." The sequel, Unravel Me, blew readers away with heart-racing twists and turns, and New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia said it was "dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense." Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and climactic end.

~Azelyn's Review~

It is impossible to put into words how amazing this was. I would need more than just 26 letters to describe it. Let me start by saying that Tahereh is one of the best authors out there, she writes with a style that's all her own. It's pure poetry. For example, this quote, "Words, I think are such unpredictable creatures. No guns, no sword or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh." You don't see that kind of writing very often. It brings out new ways to put into words what the main character-- Juliette-- is thinking and feeling. I also really appreciated the character development throughout the story. Like Warner for example, he started out as someone I thought I was going to hate, but then we gradually see how that's not the case, in fact he's much, MUCH better than I was anticipating.*chapter 55* I also loved Kenji, like can we be best friends? He brings so much life to the story, and he does more than just make jokes all the time... Well okay he does make quite a few amazing come backs like, "Hey-guys? Your loin passion is grossing out the little ones." That is by far the best thing I've heard. She does a great example of having a perfect balance of humor, seriousness, and love. This is definitely a must read, I can't recommend it enough. Thank you Tahereh for this amazing series, that I'll never forget!!!

~Aliana's Review~

SWEET NIBBLETS THAT WAS GOOD. First of all Tahereh Mafi is officially my favorite author EVER. She has such complex characters. I loved Juliette's character development through out the trilogy. We really see her grow and see her reach her full potential. I absolutely loved Warner's back story and how he went from this completely evil guy to a lovable puppy. And everyone's super powers are freakin amazing!!! I loved EVERYTHING. Favorite trilogy hands down! Now excuse me while I get over my book hangover.
